Well, not really. It's another newspaper article that intends to celebrate women in ministry, but instead comes across treating female pastors as a novelty.
I've consistently supported women in pastoral ministry, and even in the southern rural United Methodist church where I grew up, women broke that glass ceiling around 1990.
So in the 21st century, why is this still a big deal?
