Thanks for the link to the ESV - NRSV debate. With the release of the Wesley Study Bible, I have just switched from the ESV to the NRSV for preaching, and am still getting used to it. I definitely like the WSB alot, but I do wish there was a real introduction in it to the NRSV team's approach to translation. While people may disagree with the ESV team's choices, at least they lay their philosophy out there plainly for anyone who wants to know, and likewise with many other translations. No such luck with the WSB or any other NRSV translation I have.
